As the seasons start to shift, there’s no slowing down here at Den 1880. Our coworking community continues to grow and thrive, and September is shaping up to be one of our busiest — and most exciting — months yet. Whether you’re here for the coworking space, the community events, or to explore options for office space and corporate gatherings, there’s something for everyone this month at Den.

A Look Back: Summer BBQ Fun

We kicked off August with our summer Member BBQ, complete with mouthwatering eats from Lancaster Smokehouse, friendly rounds of cornhole and ping pong, and plenty of laughter shared among members. Events like these remind us what makes our coworking community special — a mix of collaboration, connection, and good fun.

Welcoming New Members

Welcome Week: September 2–5

We’re kicking off fall with Welcome Week, a full lineup of events designed to refresh your routine and reconnect with community. Here’s what’s happening:

Pizza Day | Wednesday, September 3

We’re bringing back a classic — Pizza Day! Order a slice (or three) and relive those lunchroom memories with pizza and chocolate milk in the Den Kitchen at 12:00 PM.
Just $2 cash per slice, order forms are available at the front desk and must be submitted by Tuesday, September 2nd at 4:00 PM.

Happy Hour | Thursday, September 4

Join us for post-work drinks and great conversation in the Kitchen and Theatre starting at 4:30 PM. Drinks and light snacks are on the house — a perfect way to wrap up the week and connect with your fellow coworkers.

Free Friday | September 5

Know someone who’s curious about coworking? Invite them to experience Den 1880 for Free Friday on September 5th. From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, guests can drop in and try our first-floor coworking spaces — no cost, no commitment. It’s a great way to explore our community and see what makes Den 1880 more than just an office space.

Our event calendar is packed this fall. Comedy Den returns on September 26th (details coming soon), and we’re proud to be participating in Doors Open Waterloo Region on September 20th.
