We are hiring a Front Desk & Experience Coordinator to anchor the daytime flow of the building. This is a steady, hands-on role focused on front desk presence, daily building care, and maintaining the overall standard of the space from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
Front Desk & Member Support
You will be the primary front desk presence during daytime hours.
Responsibilities include:
Welcome members, guests, and walk-in visitors in a professional and friendly manner
Notify hosts when guests arrive and offer coffee or refreshments while they wait
Answer general questions about the space, memberships, and bookings
Identify prospective member inquiries and business opportunities, and ensure they are directed promptly to the appropriate team member
Assist with meeting room reservations and basic account support
Support new members with onboarding steps in our system
Register visitors and manage day passes
Answer incoming phone calls and provide accurate information about Den 1880
Ensure all inquiries and new business requests are routed efficiently and professionally
Help foster a positive member experience that supports strong community reputation and reviews
Escalate concerns appropriately and support follow-up where needed
This role requires someone who is comfortable interacting with professionals and representing the brand of Den 1880 with confidence and consistency.
Daily Building Responsibilities
A significant part of this role involves maintaining the physical standard and presentation of the space.
This includes:
Opening the building each morning and preparing lighting and music
Maintaining coffee and beverage stations throughout the day
Unloading dishwashers and resetting the kitchen
Rotating dish towels and tidying shared spaces
Stocking Market Hall items and shared supplies
Delivering mail and managing incoming packages
Setting up and resetting meeting rooms between bookings
Monitoring restrooms and replenishing supplies
Watering plants and maintaining visual presentation
Completing daily walk-throughs to ensure the space remains clean, organized, and polished
You should be comfortable performing light physical tasks such as lifting boxes, moving chairs, and adjusting furniture when needed.
This role suits someone who naturally notices small details and takes initiative to keep things in order without needing constant direction.
Technology Support
You will assist members with basic technology needs, including:
Meeting room screens and presentation setup
WiFi connectivity
Podcast studio basics to help guests getting started after training
Keyless entry troubleshooting
You do not need to be a technical expert, but you should be comfortable learning systems, calmly assisting members, and helping troubleshoot basic technology issues when they arise.
Event & Team Support
From time to time, you will assist with daytime preparation for evening events and corporate offsites. This may include:
Resetting meeting room layouts
Preparing coffee and tea service
Assisting with vendor arrivals
Supporting room transitions
